you should go into trades like in that one thread where the OP was trying to kick knowledge with no experience in it...i hear they make money

:youngsabo:

Did I strike a nerve with y'all or somethin?:dahell: I'm too old for the trades at this point, I don't have time to wait 4 years and be damn near 40.

Extremely well

Went to 5 countries.
Made more money than I ever have
Broke off a dead relationship in the spring, reconnected with a girl I passed up on last year recently…things are going well

My only gripe is I stopped hitting the gym heavy in the summer and I can definitely feel and see my laziness :mjcry:

I fell into depression for the first time in my life. Spent the whole summer feeling like I had nobody there for me, so just the opposite of your summer, breh :snoop:

With that being said, I was able to get through it with prayer and regaining a sense of focus, or at least a better sense of focusing on me personally cause ain't nobody else gonna do it.

I'm heading towards the end of this year with recovering mental health, my depression seems to have been overcome, and my new career seems to be taking off along with a focus on my health and being fit.

I lost a lot this year, things that ill never get back. But it's almost purifying at the same time.

I feel like I'm starting at the bottom to work my way up to bigger and better heights, higher than I've ever gotten before. My focus and discipline is on a whole different level right now.
What do you think caused your depression

shytty year. Lost three aunts within six months, plus my dog. Got sick back to back for two months straight (no Covid, but last time was pneumonia), broke up with my boyfriend, burnt out from teaching, and stopped talking to several family members. This year sucked balls. Next year WILL BE BETTER.

I didn't do shyt this year.
Aside from doing a weekly show, I expected to do some DJ gigs this year and absolutely nothing transpired.
That big DJ gig I thought i had didn't happen and it was a actually scam and some motherf****s sent me a fake check from a construction company in Texas.
To this day I still don't have a real bank account.
:martin:
That's why I was getting pissed with certain people talking shyt on me and why Ive been in a bad mood recently.
They don't know the shyt I be going through behind the scenes and think I'm a joke.
Lost a bunch of family members over the same time too.
Life feels so...blah.
Had a DJ set on Lot Radio...that was it
Released some new music.
But other than that...nothing but people trying to scam me and take advantage of me made me salty.
Didn't meet any women.
Single yet again.
Sometimes I feel invisble anymore...like nobody cares.
:snoop:

I actually feel beyond frustrated with America...I'm deadass trying my luck overseas cause Im sick of this hating ass bullshyt here...I really am.
You made a new goal of moving abroad. That's a start, now plan, and execute breh.
1st half of the year was ok
2nd half of the year sucked
Trying to make moves so I don't have a bad 2023
There's still time to get some wins, doesn't matter the magnitude. A win is a win.
Didn't get fired, killed, shot, stabbed, or violated (:dame:) this year. :blessed:

Set multiple PRs and gym records. :ooh:

Ate hella junk food and didn't gain a pound. :leon: /:mjlol:/:mjcry:

Seen the fam on vacay and won't have to burn any PTO next year.

All things considered, I'd say "meh". :ehh:
You're blessed breh, ride the wave forever.
I’m in love again but I got laid off last week. :manny:
Being in love is a major life event. Some ppl have never even been in love and your on another one, congrats. The jobs ain't going anywhere, enjoy your lady breh.
Rough. Car broke down and I had to sell it, caught covid, job refused to pay me, had a manic episode, got into 2k of debt. I'm graduating undergrad in May so I hope things turn around next year
I been there, 2012-17. Those were tough years, but I learned a lot, I'm sure you are too.

Just stay on your path and things will get better. Don't be too hard on yourself, everything will fall into place.
Made about $20k less than I did last year, but I’m happier where I am now. We moved in February to a new house that is 4x larger than our old place, started an llc that collects rent from our first house, wife graduated with her masters and got a job, money is going good and everyone is healthy. We had a really really good year :wow:

Hopefully next year I’m able to finish my theater room to the way I really want it, and then we are basically 2 TV’s, an expensive couch and bed frame away from being done buying large ticket items. Maybe a new fridge and dishwasher but both of those can wait a while so we can get out of debt quicker.
Can't put a price on happiness. The definition is subjective too. You're blessed breh, keep enjoying.
A wake up call, I need to do better in all aspects
I hear that. Knowing is half the battle....
Mannn if I get another year like 2022 in 2023...there might not be a 2024......

Fukk my life
Breh, as long as you're breathing and in good health you can still win. The best lesson I ever took from Pol Pot was that of patience and diligence. That guy waited decades before he could take the healm. Unfortunately, he was a murderous b*stard. I know you aren't deranged like him, but I know you can make changes to advance your vision of life as it should be for you.
Made decent money. Chose to buy stocks instead of pay down debt. Stock market fvcked me. I'm gonna focus on eliminating my debt next year.
Everybody in those markets took Ls. shyt, I was invested in colicoin, among other investments, and they didn't work out. take those lessons and use them for the better. Hope you eliminate all that debt in 2023.
