And how do you cover that? By keeping her out of the ring and having her do the stuff she was doing in the first place. The WWE should be taking advantage of managers and valets and she could've easily been one. Goofniess aside, Alexa is doing exactly what she's supposed to be doing -- staying her ass out the ring. They truly could've swapped Sonya for Billie Kay in that semi authority role and it probably would've gone better. They should be doing the same with Lana and Dana Brooke as well.

The fact of the matter is that a lot of these people on the roster and NXT are not going to be draws no matter how well you write or promote them. If they don’t click with the fans, then there’s nothing one can do about it. Vince can literally sour on you in a second and then it’s a wrap for you and your WWE career.

Fair enough..... but in all fairness there hasn’t really been fans in a year..... they openly admitted they can’t properly gauge what’s good or bad to the fans.

I admit it is harder to be a “draw” now than ever since people wanna shyt and “hate” on these niccas more than give them a chance (unlike the era of the 80s & 90s). But I do still think good writing can prevail. The current Roman shyt is proof

If they thought Billie Kay could be an asset on the roster, then she would have never gotten released in the first place. The majority of people who get released by WWE don’t automatically become stars or relevant in other places and show what they missed out on. Unfortunately, Billie Kay is more than likely going to be one of those people.

It’s only a matter of time for some of the other women on the roster join her in being released as well.

Good writing can prevail, but there are also other circumstances that come into play as well. People wanted Reigns to turn heel and he’s done a terrific job at making it work. Unfortunately, other wrestlers aren’t that lucky and for whatever reason and it just doesn’t click. And that’s totally okay as not everyone is meant to be WWE championship or have a long career in the WWE world.

Look at R Truth and how he’s making the best out of the material being given to him. Yeah it’s corny the majority of the time, but he’s making it work. As I said before, a lot of these situations could have been avoided if WWE would quit signing everyone when there are already over saturated with talent as it is.

They should. You could have them on the roster without taking a spot away from people that can actually wrestle. There would be no Trish Stratus today if the WWE had the train of thought in the 90s/early 00s that they have now. Not saying that Kay is Trish, but she does have value.

Ya'll really want AEW to sign every WWE cast off

and then they'll complain the minute they sign just 1 or 2 people.

people really in here suggesting that AEW or of all places - ROH, signs billie kay. she may have a place in swinger's palace but other than that, its back to australia.

EDIT: if peyton gets released, shes going to AEW on a family package. maybe billie kay can latch on to that. otherwise, i dont see it.

Impact will sign most of the fired talent similar to last year but AEW will get a few at the top.

I think the Iconics go to AEW. Their womens division need more people who can cut promos and obviously the Shawn Spears connection.

Samoa Joe will join AEW for sure as long as he's healthy. If Tony Kahn is hyping up Christian, he's going to be all over Joe. Joe also has some old buddies at AEW.

AEW has to get that second show on TNT running. Dark is good for developing youth and getting the vets reps, but they have a lot of talent that need TV time.

Must be two Alexas. She’s improved in the ring about as much as Dana Brooke yet has been on the roster much longer than a lot of these women that come to the WWE and NXT and instantly lap her. How do Lacey, Kacy, and Xia Li pass her up in like a fraction of the time???
