If deGrom is healthy, he's the best pitcher in baseball.
I don't think it's particularly close. He really is that good.

I am not sure if the Texas Rangers have the offense to support him, though.
It's Seager, Lowe...and mostly a bunch of bums.

So who is going to give him more than 150 million dollars next winter when he's 31 years old?

I guess the Dodgers or Giants are possibilities. But I don't see anyone on the east coast offering him that.
Trea Turner turns 30 this season and just got 11/$300 million. Xander Bogaerts just turned 30 and got 11/$280. Machado is 100% getting another massive contract.

Gonna be the most sought after hitter next offseason after Ohtani of course. Most of the suitors for Ohtani could also use Machado (Mets/Dodgers/Yankees/Giants/Padres).
