HE LED THE NATION IN YARDS

. The "game speed" brehs look fast all the time. No matter what, it's hard to keep them in check. The track speed brehs always test better than their tape.Speed matters but tape is key.
If you run 4.3 or lower and look like Tyreek, Deion, CJ2K etc., on tape....scouts gotta jump on that.
However if you run 4.3 at the Combine but look like a 4.5 guy on the field. The "game speed" brehs look fast all the time. No matter what, it's hard to keep them in check. The track speed brehs always test better than their tape.
Bench press isn't that important except for letting scouts know about your work ethic. How serious do you take off-season conditioning. As long as you're average in your position group, no one will really care.
Vertical and broad jump give a peak into your overall athleticism. A 4.3 breh with an 11'0" broad jump and a 40" vert is a freak athlete. A breh with a 4.3 but has a 9'0" broad jump and a 33" vert might lack explosiveness. Basically means the breh knows how to run (good track form) to max his 40 time....but is not as athletic as that 40 suggests.
