2023-24 Most Overrated Cities?

The OG thread in 2017 had the following cities, in order, with the multiple mentions as being overrated:

New York, Atlanta, San Francisco, Miami, Los Angeles, Toronto, Las Vegas, Boston, Houston, Chicago, Washington

The OG also mentioned a few other cities once as overrated:

New Orleans, Phoenix, Dallas, Portland, St Louis, Raleigh, Orlando, Richmond

So now 6 years later, new thread, I like these kinds of threads because this is a majority black site so you get the range of opinions for how black people look at shyt. On the present day, what do yall consider the most overrated cities?

Let me start with this, everywhere I've been in the Midwest is overrated. I've only been to three cities there (KC, Indy, Cleveland), and all three of them are overrated. Maybe Indy less so, because it doesn't quite get the level of hype the other two get...

And I actually had a good time in Cleveland, but it's reputation as this major city, I was expecting major city things, there's way more "this is a big city" shyt popping in Pittsburgh. But, I like Cleveland, it's just short of the prestige people give it---->particularly white people, those muhfukkas love Cleveland...

Kansas City is fukking wack as shyt...

The only place in the Midwest I'd even consider is Ohio, because again I did like it there. I wanna see what Cincy and Cbus are like. And maybe the Twin Cities one day...

Other than that the Midwest was the definition of "flyover country" and its the only region where each big city I've been to is overrated...

Vegas and SF are quite possibly the two most overrated cities period. Way too many reasons to list...

I probably shouldn't put Baltimore on here, but black people like Baltimore, and I just never got the appeal. But it may not fit a true definition of "overrated" since in general it isn't gassed alot...

Black folk love Memphis and I love Memphis because I have emotional ties there but it's garbage. Atlanta is the most overrated city in the entire eastern US and should probably be up there with SF and LV for me, that's the Overrated Big 3...
