saw the migos performance last night…went from being emotional to completely befuddled by the end…performance started off great…not sure if the very first song they did was old or new…as I haven’t been checking for them too hard since the album that “t-shirts” was on…I heard some of their shyt after that but again I wasn’t really looking out for new music for them like that…but yeah the first song was dope…then they did “bad and boujee” which I haven’t heard in ages…great start as I was reminded how offset completely killed his verses on that song…his performance was good too…it was nice to see him and quavo on stage together killing it…the takeoff imagery was dope and seeing them perform in front of that made for a good, heartfelt moment…but then quavo started his verse and I forgot how many gun references there were, references to shooters, fukking gun effects, etc. in his verse…now I’m NOT the guy to normally give a fukk about that when it comes to music…been listening to rap for almost 40 years and it’s nothing new to be upset about…BUT it felt so inappropriate in that moment given that it was a takeoff tribute and of course taking into consideration how he was murdered…ngl that threw me off and just had me looking at the TV crazy

I watched all the performances and yeah ya nikkas hating Ice Spice actually had one of the better performances

Keef was horrible up there with a hype man didn’t even try to sound like he did on Faneto

Uzi’s opening performance was also surprisingly trash
