The quality of the show has declined

The new acts have terrible music, don’t have the same reach as stars, they can’t perform well, for some reason BET hasn’t done a good job of honoring 90’s/00’s vets the way the show did 70’s/80’s vets 15+ years ago.

That said, we still need a thread cuz people gonna show up for the fukkery regardless

The quality of award show have declined tremendously.

Not only that, but these shows are always scheduled on the same date and time another event comes on.

They are honoring Busta tonight and alot of legends in the building and getting shine. Guess they tryna do better.

I guess I mean the quality of the tributes isnt the same. I also feel they haven’t honored r&b acts well

And the show is generally ratchet as fukk. The BET awards used to be more family reunion, there was something for everyone 15-90, I find myself turned off at how ratchet the women are and low vibrational the men are, my parents gen can’t even tune in at all.
