What’s the difference between this show and the BET Hip Hop Awards?

As of now, nothing, but that's mainly because they wanted to get 50 years of hip hop in before August.

The main thing I hate this year is that I wanted BET to top the Grammys for the 50 years tribute. I can't say BET ain't trying. I just wish more big time artists recognized the importance of this and decided to do it.
