Speaking as someone who has family in Florida, South Carolina and Missouri and has been to all of them countless times, they all fukking suck.
I will say that Florida is better than the other two but would I live in any of the three? No fukk that.

Arkansas, Alabama, Mississippi, and my home state of Louisiana are usually at the bottom of all lists like this.

What's up with these states that lack child care?
The west has bad weather too. That heat out there is ferocious. They can talk all that shyt they want about humidity, but hot is hot with or without humidity and the only reason they don't have humidity to begin with is because a large part of the west is desert which means that they also have water problems. I lived in California for 3 years and I promise you the Summers were blistering hot and it was also hazy a lot due to forest fires. Don't even bother getting into the air quality out there because it was terrible.
Oh and it is just as humid in the Mid-Atlantic as it is in the rest of the South. D.C. and Maryland can be as hot and as humid as any other place in the South.
