Or maybe im just used to the old era where you could pencil who would be solid from year to year

The defenses have caught up to offense some yeah, but it's also the QB play. Brady being still a top 5 QB in recent memory is proof of that.

Mahomes, Lamar and healthy Burrow are the 3 QBs I know what I'm getting from every year in terms of elite play.
