I just realized KC sonned Baltimore in two different sports in recent times

And a decade ago, back in the 2014 playoffs -the Kansas City royals swept the Baltimore orioles in the ALCS.

at least one SF team was able to beat KC this decade

2014 World Series was great . It went 7 games too. Veteran dynasty championship team ( SF Giants won the WS trophy in 2010 ,2012, 2014)vs Cinderella underdog team who came out of nowhere(KC royals). It was the first time they made the playoffs since their championship season (1985) their last playoff appearance was also the year of their last title.
