ain't no Mariano's in these times. Relief pitching is too volatile, especially in the playoffs.
Every team left either had a shaky closer situation or their dominant closer been shaky.

I called it. The previous slider was a fat hanger and he missed it cuz he started his swing early for the fastball.
He threw another slider and Carpenter absolutely crushed it
