At some point, owners are gonna have to start hiring QB genius’s as Co-GM to find the next big thing every 5 or so years. Because that cap hit is gonna be stupid when you gotta pay up.

I know it ain’t easy getting a franchise QB.. but how many teams in the NFL are pushing dynasties?

I mean…..I would pay $20mil to Shanahan to NOT pay a qb $55mil a year and see if he can just find 2 or 3 Purdys to stock up on talent for the next 5-7 years cheaply

Idk, he had Jimmy G and Lance looking serviceable as well. Every single qb he’s worked with has been in the pro bowl. Matty ice, Matt fkn Schaub, the list is endless on him squeezing every ounce of talent out of mediocrity.

Of all the RBs in the world to get a LTE, he's probably the last one I would think to extend
