I'm still pessimistic af

People forget tho. Mueller indicted peeps in trumps circle. It looked like it was going down. Even trump was quoted as saying "My presidency is over, I'm fukked".

We all know what happened next.

I'm pessimistic too because it's still a lose lose. If trump is convicted, he isn't doing a jail time. It's not happening. And if he's found not guilty he will use that as a way to say, "I beat the corrupt democrats trying to imprison me" and will repeat that endlessly like he does everything else.

I am. The verdict is the bigger picture. Calling him a convict probably will hit harder then laughing at a picture of him asleep.

You're still missing the point. Guilty verdict is obviously extremely powerful but Trump will explain it away using the same tricks he always does - witch hunt, crooked Judge, Biden weaponizing the DOJ, bad jury selection etc.

Images of Trump literally ASLEEP in court during a trial shows Trump in a light we haven't really seen yet - a weak, tired, sleepy old defeated man. There's something very damning about it. The bravado is gone.

I want both dude. Trump to be cooked legally AND whatever bad optics come from seeing/ hearing the trial firsthand. We were robbed of that.
