CNN panel telling Zohran to be nice when the entire campaign the other side did some of the most racist attacks against him imaginable

Wow. Virginia and New Jersey Governor races are complete blood baths. Sherrill won the Jersey race with 56% of the vote and Spanberger won with 57% of the vote. The Democrat in the Lieutenant Governor race won with 55% of the vote. That Jay Jones race for Virginia was a little closer. He won with 52.5% of the vote, but it's impressive because he beat the sitting Attorney General.

One thing I read was that Jersey has not had a Republican or Democrat win 3 straight terms in the Governor race. That just happened with Sherrill's victory. Fox News kept trying to hype this race up as close and I seen a few articles from other sources talking about a potential upset in Jersey. LOL at them.

The party out of power in Washington does tend to be more hyped to vote during off year elections. In 2021 I remember certain people with agendas on this forum trying to make something of a Republican winning the Virginia Governor race and the New Jersey Democrat Governor only winning re-election with 51% of the vote. Then the mid-term elections came around in 2022 and Republicans performed very poorly.

This time it feels different. Sherrill winning Jersey by such a large margin, at least 375,000 votes signal a pretty big energy shift for Democrats. Phil Murphy won his first Governor term in Jersey with a similar result and the following year in the mid-terms Dems won like 30 something seats in the US House of Representatives and took control of the House.
All those federal workers in NOVA had a huge impact.
