Barkley made the most sense (how did that happen?). The current players are the reason the NBA had to do something with the all star game. If they gave a damn for over a decade, it would be a traditional east vs. west. They didn’t, and got progressively worse. So the NBA added different things to try to get them to play remotely competitive (extra pay for the winner/ Elon system/this new system). Current players and past all stars are the LAST people I wanna hear complain about this format. You’re the very reason the NBA changed it.

Yep they did their own tourney on Friday night. 3 young rising starts teams and one g league team. This rising stars team is the winner from Friday.

So it's almost a bye for whoever gets them in Sunday's semis lol.
