don't beat a dead horse.

Had Luka not gone back already, sure, but anything more is tryna create a rivalry that isn't there.
I mean that had a big rivalry in the dirk/cuban era

And with cooper added you got a new rival for Luka if still early

We saw Mavs /Lakers already

Also, Dillon Brooks not being in Houston anymore takes some of the fun away from then playing Golden State
Who cares if they played already. This is Christmas where viewership is like 10x bigger

KD vs Bron hasn't been a thing since 2019

For a league where y'all get tired of the NBA beating a dead horse y'all sure love watching a dead horse get beaten.

It's not a rivalry. The game ain't in Dallas. You're gonna see this 4 times and unless you think the Lakers are play them in the play-in, you're not gonna see this in the playoffs. The NBA doesn't need to force feed this shyt.

LeBron vs Steph will bring more ratings than Luka vs Mavs.

Not putting the Knicks on opening night coming off of their last season is insanity.

I’d imagine they’ll get the Wednesday doubleheader on ESPN

Rockets-Thunder more compelling than Knicks-Thunder
