A potential matchup vs the lakers would’ve been legendary.
People forget that AD is a top 3 big man in the league. Hell the best perhaps at times depending on how you rate defense. The bad thing about the trade was not that they got trash, it was that they got an injury prone, older guy with little heart. For a young and hungry guy that just took them to the finals.
If Grizzlies lose, they keep their 1st round pick but give up two seconds to the Wizards from the Marcus Smart deal.
If they win, their 1st round pick will go to the Wizards.
