I'd have to definitely disagree with you. The only way I can see someone saying that is if you are ratings some of the players from before the 1980's extremely highly, and if you're valuing MLB's and some DB's more than a dominant interior lineman.

I definitely have Donald in the top ten. There are lots of factors, and I give defensive players today higher value than previous generations because they are going against athletic freaks on offense now and going against more advanced schemes.

Right off the bat, there is not a single DB I am taking over Aaron Donald. So, if you have Deion, Reed, Lott, and some others on your list, I don't have them ahead of Donald.

Then we get to LB's. Other than Lawrence Taylor, I can't think of any LB I am taking over Aaron Donald.


So, then it comes down to the DL, and he's definitely in my top five DL's of all-time, and that's giving the benefit of the doubt to other players.

I gotta respectfully disagree with you on you giving higher value to defensive players of today rather than yesterday generation

and no, this is not a diss to AD - he just outside of my top10

Great look for them

I personally think hes broken down and washed, but if he's even 75% of what he was at his peak he's going to have a great season. That secondary is young and stacked with talent. Humphrey is the old man on the team at 28
