If Parsons really wanted his bread like that, then he would have played hardball with Jerry long ago. There’s no rush in doing the deal when you’ve made it clear that you’re willing to play while it gets done.

It's showing more and more that for teams it's better to just bite the bullet and get it done with how quick the price for the top at their position can rise. Only thing is that the agent and players know that so some proabably drag it out on purpose just so the market can be reset and they can demand more.
