Bears are heavily connected to Dalman, any Falcons fans have thoughts on him? I like Poles aggressively looking to improve the OL but this would be a ton of money/resources going into the IOL with the Thuney & Jonah Jackson moves(although Jackson has no guarantees after next season). At the same time building out the OL is the right move. We have Darnell Wright on a rookie deal solidified at RT. They should still look to add LT talent on the 1-2 rounds of this he draft. They have 3 picks in the top 41. Dalman only played 9 games last season, we can’t afford a big context to an OL that won’t be on the field, it seems like a big deal for a ‘good’ player, but that’s how FA works

I’m all in on a potential Mack reunion. 2 years, low guarantee for the second year would be ideal. We need some pop opposite Sweat and Mack can still play the run. A homecoming would be great, this defense has talent. He just always felt at home on the Bears. We can still target DL in the draft to develop guys

Dalman is a really good player but I really never noticed him like that. That's really the 2nd best thing you could say about an OL, that they made their blocks and didn't blow their assignments, but it's not the 1st, which is them jumping off the screen and making an impact. We run the ball well, but we also have a top 3 RB duo in the league. We don't give up a whole lot of pressure up the middle, but we have the best RG and a really good young LG too. Unless you're talking about the Jason Kelces and Alex Macks of the world, it's just really hard to separate a Center's value from the rest of the OL/offense.

Plugging him in between your new OGs would have good results on the field for sure, but is that your best use of $15-20 mil? I can't say :manny:
