True, unless he gets in the way of a true #2. If we kick our feet up like ‘yep, we got Deebo he’s our #2’ then it’s a net negative. Keenan Allen in Chicago comes to mind. Even tho he was aiiight, ultimately all he did was take touches away from the better WR DJ, and the young ascending WR Rome.

And in our case I really want us to use our first on Egbuka, Luther Bearden, or the Texas kid who ran the 4.3 Golden. WRs always fall/get lost in the shuffle so late first WR value is immense: BTJ, Ladd, Keon, the year before Zay, Addison. Immediate WR2s on rookie deals. If we pass on that bc ‘we got Deebo’

I think they're paying him more than people projected because of his skillset. The Bills WRs were among the worst in the league at getting separation. Something Palmer is good at
