I was ready to call BS but I see the latest CBS mock has him out of the first.
I don't see why a team in cap hell like New Orleans would pass on him. The Steelers don't even have a QB so how are they not taking him? They're a team who never gets a crack at the top QB's because they're always picking in the 20's so that's an easy pickup for them.
I don't see how he was projected in the top 3, then sliding to picks 7-10, to out of the 1st before even having a pro day. Could just be the typical teams doing a smear campaign to get someone to fall to them.

Bad teams will overpay. I could see a team like the Pats giving Kupp a lot more.

I can definitely see the Patriots signing one or two of those WR’s on a short term deal. The Patriots have arguably the worst WR group in the NFL, on paper.
They have to give Maye some weapons.
