I don't think it's about him as much as it's a coaching philosophy. Raheem Morris is doing the same thing with Penix, both he and KOC got their current gigs after working with McVay and he started the trend of not giving starters any snaps period.

The no starters playing in the preseason is a Arthur Blank thing that nikka has made every head coach rest his starters in the preseason ever since Matt Ryan got hurt one year

I want to see him in a real game but I'm feeling good about him. Not saying he's going to be Tucker(we don't need him to be) but I do think he'll be a solid kicker for us.
