The Dolphins PR team is letting him unintentionally do the Parcells thing of distracting the media from how cooked that team is because of him.
He's on the books until 2029. It would take a VERY desperate coach to take this gig knowing he's the QB and ain't a whole lot of QB talent to draft.
He's literally one hit away from being DONE
The issue is they gotta hit him and he's VERY aware of that too and he's sliding, throwing the ball away quick, and nowhere near actually putting himself in danger now that he got that extension.
