I know it's a hypothetical and we don't know what the Patriots would have done with their draft pick, but let's say the Patriots had lost their last game of the season last year. They would have ended up with the first overall pick. They clearly would have traded it, likely to the Giants/Titans/Jaguars/Browns. Let's say they did that and got at least an additional first round pick next year and a second round pick from one of those teams. Let's just assume the Patriots take Will Campbell with whichever first round pick they got back in 2025 from one of those teams.

Do you think the Browns would take a 2026 first round pick from one of those teams along with the Patriots 2026 first round pick for Myles Garrett?

QB franchise tag is currently at $40m, doesn't make much sense unless he's pushing for something much higher (which he won't)

The same 3/$100m Darnold signed is a win/win for both sides, I'd be shocked if he and the Colts don't hammer that out with ease.

Unless he has a big fall off this year, he's getting a lot more than 3/$100m. With Darnold, he had already struggled in two different place, whereas Jones only struggled in one. In terns of a passing attack, Darnold had superior weapons last year as well.

I'm not saying I think Jones is great, but I'd be shocked if all he got was 3/$100m. I think IF he continues to play well, he's closer to that 3/$130 range.
