This is the worst era in history to be a “gunslinger” QB because there is too many people on defense now who could cover.

The closest we come is like Baker Mayfield, lead the league in interceptions and still had a 106 passer rating. But then this season isn't going as great as that one.

Doesn't seem like a sustainable way of operating in todays game unless you have elite elite receivers, but even then like Burrow and Stafford, you need both elite elite arms and receivers. Just look at what Puka and Chase are doing. They are beating like 3 guys and getting a perfectly delivered ball not many can deliver.

There's a path in which the Jags wind up the 1 seed that could realistically happen :wow:

I think it's doubtful, but I don't find it THAT crazy of a possibility. The Jaguars will need to win out, and they will need to hope that the Patriots lose to the Bills and one other team. Then they'll need the Broncos to lose to one or more of the Packers, Chiefs, and Chargers. I don't think it's likely, but I don't think the odds on it are THAT low. If the Patriots beat the Bills this week, then I think it likely doesn't happen, but if they lose to the Bills, I actually give it a decent chance.

Yeah if the Pats beat the Bills, it's not going to happen

I think we wind up the 2 seed as Denver has a tougher schedule.. Going in to Denver is going to be a tall task for us though :wow:

I think the Patriots and Jaguars both have a better chance than Denver of getting the #1 seed in the AFC. If the Patriots lose to Buffalo, then things become spookier, but I would give the Jaguars about a 20% chance.
