Agreed. If he can clean that up he can be elite for real. He just have some truly puzzling misses on easy throws and then will turn around and make some insane throws.
This made me curious. There are medical terms associated with this:

  • The "Hard-Easy Effect": In psychology, this effect describes a prediction bias where people are often overconfident about successfully completing hard tasks and under-confident about easy ones.
