There are already numerous studies and analyses about White conservatives/Republicans (the main reasons are bigotry and greed).

Anyway, White Democrats on average are much more left-leaning than Black Democrats. Black voters (particularly those in the Gen X and Boomer cohorts) are probably the biggest supporters of centrist Dems. I wish that more Black voters would support Dems like Elizabeth Warren rather than Andrew Cuomo types.

Warren-like Dems are progressive but pragmatic. They aren't milquetoast centrists, but they also aren't far-left crazies/activists either. I consider myself a pragmatic progressive.
Again, I’ll continue to repeat this. As one myself, EVERY BLACK GRAD-SCHOOL EDUCATED PERSON I PERSONALLY KNOW voted for Warren in the 2020 primary.

Some of our elders have to be put down at this point.
interesting take. it's not "hey, maybe we shouldn't support sex changes for children", or "hey, maybe we need to acknowledge the economic realities of bringing socialism to an already-taxed to death NYC", or "hey, maybe people coming here illegally isn't worth crashing out over"

just "we're right about everything, and if you don't agree, you're a bigot/transphobe/capitalist pig/should be put down"

i am shocked. SHOCKED!! that progressives can't put together a coalition

No, we as younger black people need to take politics seriously and vote them out. We can't keep getting surprised the politics of these people yet never vote them out. If we do not put together some type of effort soon, when they are gone what real political power or infrastructure will we have?

Why do you think progressives have an issue in appealing to the constituents that they would benefit the most?

1. I can think of a couple of reasons. Ultimately if a politician can't make a case to a group of people, I blame the politician. That includes progressives

2. Why is Clyburn endorsing Cuomo :mjlol:
