Don't know about the subways but there should be some social incentives like a work/housing programme. A drugs programme with some similarities to Portugal's with some caveats and no cuts in funds.*A rent freeze would be disastrous. It's a policy that sounds nice in theory but is actually terrible.
*His housing policy is inadequate/not well thought out.
*"City-run" grocery stores don't make sense.
*Creating homeless hubs in the subway would be dangerous.
*I don't like that he's a DSA member (aka socialist)

I’m sorry I can’t celebrate this until more numbers come in but I’m cautiously optimistic.
I’m waiting for the inevitable cuomo loss, runs as an independent then last second endorsement of Adams in November and Mamdani loses by 0.5%if Cuomo actually runs as an independent after losing this, he might be the biggest dikkhead in the history of the world
Also shoutout to Shahana Hanif for winning her primary. Those right wing Jews wanted to make an example of her for her pro Gaza stance and being Muslim and the left wing Jewish population of Windsor and Parkslope said nah she’s cool.
Seen a stat recently that showed: overwhelmingly most Jewish people are left leaning liberals that don't fukk with Israel like that.
