Some of our elders have to be put down at this point.

NYC isn’t a national election but I tip my cap to you today :russ: .

You got what you wanted and the centrists were defeated, we’ll see how everything plays out once the Republicans get involved
Not everything he wanted :francis: :whew:

Unsurprising to see many Centrist / New Republican Democrats losing their shyt over this. It's a sign though that they are becoming the new Conservatives. All We need now if for Zohran to talk about Trans Rights to make people have a brain aneurysm.

Sabato’s not totally wrong but he’s missing the big picture. Sure, Spanberger and Sherrill show where the electable part of the party is going. But Mamdani shows where the energy and ideas are coming from. You need both. One wins elections. The other moves the needle.

@umichvoter
Majority Hispanic precincts...

Mamdani 48%
Cuomo 41%

Looks like Cuomo won Dominicans but Mamdani won elesehwere
Puerto Ricans came in big time with @AOC and Nydia Velasquez

Cuomo won Dominicans in the Bronx, but not so much in Washington Heights.

The Heights is much more used to political organizing bc of the Espaillat machine & the Dem clubs there -- which didn't translate well for Cuomo.

Can't say the same for the Bronx.

Interesting breakdown! Looks like @alexgraytrust's analysis on Hispanic voting blocs holds up here—Puerto Ricans showing strong support for @AOC and Velasquez, while Dominicans leaned Cuomo. Big splits!

As puertorican, Mamdani is the man for the job

You don’t have to reinvent the wheel

Dems lost on immigration which republicans tied to the economy and fentanyl overdoses it’s why big cities moved right

Tighten up the border and you win like Clinton and Obama ran on

Zohrans ideas are not gonna fly in the rust belt
