I don’t know if I can get behind scaring/threatening the citizens of NYC like this. He knows a sizable population love him and would do anything to keep him in the city. But politics can be a dirty game.

i would imagine that a sizable part of NYC knows that while the NYPD is on some bullshyt, they're still a necessary evil. i can't imagine everyone in new york agrees with his "defund the police/turn the subway into a homeless shelter" bullshyt

if the crime rate goes up under Mamdani, get ready to see that in every republican campaign ad in the country
