I wish there was focus on revolutionary action presented in an exciting, but nonthreatening and common sense way that normies could get behind.

Defund the police wasn't created by the left, it was led by activist. Not everyone on the left have the same values , its a pretty big spectrum. Some police departments absolutely need to be defunded and have states take over, theirs a lot of nuance with the conversation which current political climate doesnt allow. A lot of the social issues people attribute to the left is actually liberals. Liberalism is rooted in hashtags, the typical people you see at protest .leftist for the most part is about policy
