His dad's claim to fame is a speech he gave at the 1984 Democratic convention (he didn't actually accomplish much as a governor). Anyone who gave that kind of speech today would be called a "communist" today by the Cuomo boys (and other "mainstream" Dem politicians/journalists/etc.)
