Chicken or the egg thing: a lot of college OCs nowadays only target hashes, streaks, or that gimmicky shyt you mentioned. This time last decade, reversed offensive minds like Gus Malzahn and Hugh Freeze didn’t even bake in those as reads (or really trust their guys to make multiple reads).

I don’t watch or care for the NFL like that, but with the decrease in “pro style” QBs as I’ve been told, it’s gonna take a shift in philosophy on that level too
