I was not paying attention to Virginia, even though it's next door. I read today that Trump didn't endorse the Republican candidate.

Wonder why?

I mean, besides the obvious :mjpls: at play here, it was obvious that endorsement was never coming. She was so terrible in nearly all of the public appearances I ever saw her in (given, I'm not in Virginia, but still) made it clear that she was so nuclear that any endorsement of her beyond a simple "I hope all Republicans do well" would be an absolutely terrible idea. She was approaching the Herschel Walker level of being a terrible candidate times.

Central VA
Virginian here

The GOP’s heart wasn’t in it. The black woman candidate at the top and the lieutenant governor had some gay controversy going on.

They only spent money hoping Miyares would get in under the Jones text scandal and basically spoil Spanberger’s administration

BEFORE the election even was finished tallying votes, Rick Wilson last night said that republicans really dont vote for black politicians like that. Wild shyt.

This sounds like cope for her campaigning on the culture war issues that you claim swing elections, yet doing rather poorly. Who might've guessed that campaigning on trans, trans, trans wouldn't work out well for her?

Don't waste your time arguing with them about this. In reality, most people are merely indifferent to a large portion of LGBTQ issues due to their limited personal exposure, and really just aren't receptive to a political platform that has a hyper focus on that issue. That goes both ways (don't even ask me how :wow: ).

Common sense would say that if we are to believe that a Democrat platform that focuses so intensely on that subject turns some voters away, a Republican platform that does as well would have the same result. But that algorithm doesn't serve them stuff like nuance or actual common sense, so you're not about to get a serious response from Nap.

"Fire buff." Ain't no fukking way. :dead:

Just saw the stats for the VA governors race and if we want to get Trumpism out the paint, ALL POC's need to vote because after all of what's going on, you can't trust white people for shyt.

56 percent voted for Earle-Sears
