Hopefully one day the rap categories will be more competitive. Unfortunately we always get only 1 artist being able to combine massive critical acclaim with huge commercial success.

Gotta agree with billboard on this, the only other rapper that was worth getting a grammy this year, after Kendrick, was Chance.

Others had nice albums but no wow factor, objectively.

Kendrick really had the best album and it's not even close to being close, feels like another easy year for him.

When I think about it, the only albums that really stand out, in every aspect, are GNX and Mayhem.

Hopefully Kendrick win big once again, he will and he should.

Honorable mention is Tyler.

I'm a Kendrick fan but I wanna see Clipse win everything just to see them crash out.
:banderas:
Nobody will crash out, but it will make everybody hate on Clipse for winning an undeserving award :banderas:. You don't get extra points for being a veteran.

yep, that time of the year is coming up again. Where pro black/hip hop heads sit through 4 hours of a white award show only to complain at the end when their favorite artists don't win anything  . For the record, the last Grammy show I watched was the one where Eminem performed Stan with Elton John. These shows are pointless and no artist should be defined by winning or losing these trinkets.
