Like most Republicans, he only cares when their racism/nationalism affects him. Ben Shapiro seems unbothered by the Republican party's white nationalism until the dialogue becomes antisemitic. Vivek Ramaswamy has received the wake up call numerous times at this point. JD Vance will be saying it's just boys being boys until the attention turns to Usha.
These are not people that are concerned with racism or xenophobia until it affects them directly.

It's a shame we don't truly have debate shows or real panels anymore because republicans should not be allowed to make this argument. Last week there was some pro-Israel convention here and suddenly twitter was full of established republicans attacking Nick Fuentes, claiming Charlie Kirk opposed racism, etc. Ben Shapiro tweets were clearly being pumped onto people's timelines because I know for a fact I've never clicked a tweet of his. Yet there he was making the anti-Fuentes, pro-Israel arguments while claiming republicans aren't down with racism.
And yet for the last decade plus they have made blatantly racist comments about immigrants, Indians, black people, Arabs, etc. Shapiro is on record saying Arabs live in huts surrounded by shyt. How is that any different than Fuentes saying the exact same thing about Indians? What about a decade of "all cultures are not equal" arguments for why certain people from certain countries are incompatible with civilized society in the west? Multiple republicans who denounced Fuentes have made the same arguments.
Point being...their entire adoption of maga is entirely built on racism and nativism. Which is why most of the young interns at Heritage are Fuentes fans. As are most young republicans on campuses across the country.
Republicans are fukked, the economy is going to continue to get worse, they may have major losses. The gerrymandering may fukk them over too, whose to say those seats continue to be red, those districts may turn to toss ups. This is very similar to the issues dems had in 2021-2022

They kind of ruined that as well, since Californian republicans launched a lawsuit against prop 50. Scotus would have to contend with that as well with making their decision
