The issue will probably be the case won't make it to SCOTUS in time for them to legally move the lines before the deadlines for the 2026 midterms.

We'll see, they can move FAF when they want. Remember those cases where some states (I think Colorado was one of them) wanted to take Trump off their ballots because of Jan. 6?
