There is like half a million more registered Dems than Repubs in Texas.

People in Texas do not vote. That’s always been the problem.
Texas has party id not really party registration, those numbers are just based on what someone voted on in the past

Article below does a good job explaining

See, the thing is, not all states have party registration. Only 30 do… and Texas is not one of them. In Texas, you can temporarily affiliate yourself with a party by voting in its primary, but (a) that affiliation falls off after a few

That’s fair

Still a large issue in Texas is voter participation. It's one of the lowest in the country.

Told yall that people expecting some type of huge blue wave next year will probably be disappointed.

Trump and Republicans are popular and what America wants right now :yeshrug: they shouldn't be because they're terrible but that's just how America is

By what metric is Trump "popular" right now? Last I heard, he has his lowest approval rating since January 6.

Also, how can you say this considering the November elections that just occured?

Trump has never been "popular" when compared to other modern (post WW2) American Presidents, and even when compared to his own numbers, right now he is as unpopular as he has ever been.

You got all that from one trash republican pollster when all the other polls have Dems ahead and ignoring actual results? :gucci:

So you found an outlier poll and jumped out the window about it. Congratulations.

There is no indication Trump or republicans are popular. Politico just reported that like 20 republicans are resigning from the house before midterms. They're going to get dusted. Which tends to happen when the economy is bad while the president's party is in power.

People are upset with trump but prefer republican policies.

Again…immigration, trans issues, economic issues.
