He's gonna win.

Take what you feel about him personally out the equation. This is a simple winning message throughout most the country. If democrats would rather keep dikk riding Israel or making the most insular identity politic arguments possible they will lose. Not in November, because republicans are getting wiped out no matter what. But in 2028.

That shyt plays in areas full of white people and to white people in general.

He’s a white man. Appealing to white men. In a state that’s 90% white.

I gotta ask, where do yall live where the conversations are all about Israel with politicians.

Living in NC, it’s primarily healthcare, teacher pay, immigrants, jobs, rent, gas, I can retire, my kids school sucks, vouchers, voter ID, crime, trannies etc being the main talking points during every election.

Maybe it’s due to the state having had near republican Republican super majority and dem governor for the last 12 years that the discussion is really a back and forth over the policies being enacted and proposed.

That's nonsense.

Again, I don't think Plantar is a leftist, but you can definitely apply the system is failing you, and we need to make your material conditions better in any context, anywhere. His message isn't too far from Mamdani's in NYC. (We need better healthcare, we need to make homes/land affordable and get corporations and the wealthy out of property ownership of places they do not live, and we need to tax the wealthy more)

What it always comes down to is whether you actually believe in those things. Janet Mills got run out because she doesn't believe in shyt, and we have a lot of pols who don't believe in anything but being in office.

You can apply it everywhere, its how trump has won 3x. Dudes still too stupid to understand that after 12 years now. He listed out a bunch of ways the system has failed coters and proceeds to say his way of politics wouldnt work lol. Basically to him politics is nothing but culture issues and bs which is why dems keep losing. Apparently according to him black folks don't care about the system failing them, we only care about if they attended our churches

its just poor political education. I don’t think its stupidity as much as it’s the paradigm we inhabit.

The issues have been steered away from material conditions and is just focused on cultural issues because that does not address power.

The Bernie-to-MAGA pipeline is shown in full view. That 3x Trumper in the video said he liked Bernie, and he believes that Bernie was "ditched aside" lol. Platner also played into the BS conspiracies, saying that "the powers that be" made Bernie lose.

*Sigh* Bernie didn't win either the 2016 or 2020 Dem presidential primaries because he didn't get enough support from Dem primary voters. It's really that simple. Any other rationale is just nonsense.

You live in a different reality from most people, which is why it’s difficult for you to understand why voters feel Democrats had their thumb on the scale in both 2016 and 2020.

2016:
Obama effectively anointed Hillary. Democrats didn’t have a truly competitive primary. it was basically Bernie (the stronger candidate), O’Malley, and Jim Webb. Bernie was a thorn in the establishment’s side, and the party apparatus did whatever it could to stop him. As I said above, Hillary was personally elevated by Obama and the party leadership. We have Debbie Wasserman resigning and leaked DNC emails to showcase how much favor they gave Hillary .

2020:
Obama pressured the remaining candidates, including those backed by major donors and the establishment to drop out and consolidate behind Joe Biden because it was clear heading into super Tuesday that Bernie was on track to win the nomination. This is an indisputable fact that the establishment did a party unification move which is why most that don't wear dnc panties see the dem party as being chosen by elites/donors and not the voters.

Republicans do not have this problem, the bush neocons ceded power to trump in 2016. Democrat voters feel if voting is just going through the motion after 2016

Obama didn’t anoint Hillary. She was the presumed front runner and anyone with a brain understands that. If you want to fault someone fault your boy for having zero plan to win the south - specifically black voters in the south. That’s why he lost, end of story.

Also the only reason we’re having this conversation is because Biden’s son died. If Beau Biden doesn’t get cancer, Biden runs and stomps Hillary, who we agree is a bad politician. And Biden would have clowned Trump in 2016.

Bernie didn't get enough votes in the primaries. That's the truth whether you accept it or not :manny:
The documentary on the scary, yet now understandable, similarities between MAGA and some of our “allies” on the left will be award worthy. Unwavering cult like devotion to one man and a refusal to accept his political defeat. And that’s just the tip of the spear.

Truly scary.
