Possibly not vote at all thinking there’s no difference between MAGA or a New Democrat when it comes to trans rights and immigration.

not surprising that in a city where Democrat policies have made the cost of living excruciating, he's winning by promising a bunch of free shyt to young people

let's see if he delivers :ehh:

Trump won even when promising tariffs

Kamala loss even though she had better leadership qualities than Trump.

In this age people want ideas not lecture on why the other person is bad.

The Michigan Primary is going to show what direction Dems want. Trump showed you don't need a warchest of money, just need to reach the people. Schumer and Jefferies are seen as weak, so I doubt their endorsements are going to have any effect. Haley really is going to have swim on her own.

Yep they got no pull over here. My mind says Mallory. My heart says Abdul and his black muscle Tees. But we ain’t NYC and I’d be shocked if our economically anxious friends outside of metro detroit have the desire to vote for someone named Abdul el sayed over two white women. But maybe the people in the UP and Howell, etc will surprise me.

The thing against Mallory though, is that Democratic Voters are at the point of exhaustion of being stuck with the same people, same results in D.C.; they are looking people with a voice, people that sound authentic and not hashtags.

Saying stuff life, "We are going to protect the Auto Workers of America." isn't going to cut it anymore, it's less about the workplace and more about the family/individual.

So we will see.

Kamala Harris says she’s not running for California governor

Summarize

Former Vice President Harris announced on Wednesday that she will not run for governor of California, putting an end to speculation that she would seek her state’s top executive role after her loss to President Trump in November.

“In recent months, I have given serious thought to asking the people of California for the privilege to serve as their Governor. I love this state, its people, and its promise. It is my home. But after deep reflection, I’ve decided that I will not run for Governor in this election,” Harris said in a statement.

The former vice president said she spent time reflecting over the past six monthssince losing in November after she took over the Democratic ticket when former President Biden dropped out of the race.

“I have extraordinary admiration and respect for those who dedicate their lives to public service—service to their communities and to our nation. At the same time, we must recognize that our politics, our government, and our institutions have too often failed the American people, culminating in this moment of crisis,” Harris said. “As we look ahead, we must be willing to pursue change through new methods and fresh thinking—committed to our same values and principles, but not bound by the same playbook.”

Harris was considering all her options before making her decision official, while she has made it clear that she is not done with public service,

She said on Wednesday she will get more active in helping Democrats this cycle.

“For now, my leadership—and public service—will not be in elected office. I look forward to getting back out and listening to the American people, helping elect Democrats across the nation who will fight fearlessly, and sharing more details in the months ahead about my own plans,” Harris said in the statement.

Former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and former California Attorney General Xavier Becerra, Biden’s secretary of Health and Human Services, are running so far to replace Gov. Gavin Newsom

That actually works for Mallory. She went viral a while back for sounding/being authentic. I think for a certain kind of economically anxious voter she will be a happy median between Hailey and Abdul they would be willing to vote for. That’s why my mind thinks she’ll win.

But who knows maybe racism and hate will melt away once they see Abdul’s been working out :whew:
