If anything it’s just another to add to all the over performances since November. Her daddy won 63-36 last year. Good momentum heading to next year.I mean, I'm not sure how significant this is.
Dems coalition is educated, more highly engaged voters. I would expect us to do well in off year elections.
They realized mommy and daddy are better than spending the night over their big cousins house who’s addicted to COD, Cheetos and meth. They want the adults in the room again.

Point taken. My counter to your counter is the only thing that will motivate the lower learning people is Trump and he won’t be on the ballot in 26 (and hopefully 28). Harder for the pod bros to convince people to show up for a random race for district 15 in 26 and should be harder to convince people to show up for Vance or don Jr in 28 after the economy has been ruined and the hospitals are gone.Yeah, but remember that we were overperforming in races before the 2024 presidential?
I'm not trying to be a downer, but our coalition now has the most highly engaged voters. I dont think off year elections (where lower engaged voters are unlikely to participate) are a good barometer anymore.
Yea idk if it means anything tbh hard time extrapolate 500k+ voters from a 70k less white highly engaged voter sample. It probably shows a trend though.I mean, I'm not sure how significant this is.

Ole girl out performed her daddy (RIP) and in Georgia even though she got blown out she outperformed the last election too.
I mean there’s some preliminary data that shows Dems are more likely to vote in those sorts of elections because they’re more educated. I don’t know how much of a test it is for temperature anymore.
Yeah, Dems (especially people under 45 but everyone) hate their party but they hate them because they don’t fight hard enough against Trump. They’re basically saying this hoe ass neighbor I don’t fukk with is better than letting a serial killer move in next door.Touche
My argument is we are being flooded with information that the party’s popularity is at an all time low, everyone hates them, dems suck etc and they are consistently over performing in comparison to 2024.
Now two things can of course be true at once but voting > polling and people are showing up more than they did in 2024, even in the losses.
And again Trump won’t be on the ballot in 26 or 28. Despite what the internet is telling us there is energy out there and it will be showcased again on October 18th. Trump won’t be there to save random house congress members or multi term senators in the next few years.
Additionally Trump wouldn’t be trying to gerrymander everything down to getting an a single extra seat in missourah if they didn’t see what was coming up.
These are positive signs.
agreed. That’s how we’ve been for a while. I wish more people would have had that sentiment in November because I’d much rather be protesting and shytting on that hoe ass neighbor today than dealing with everything the serial killer is giving us right but that’s a story for another thread.Yeah, Dems (especially people under 45 but everyone) hate their party but they hate them because they don’t fight hard enough against Trump. And before someone says "but she was a bad candidate, of course she was gonna lose" - I called this before the primary even started. The minute that DOGE shyt started it was obvious where this would go in Virginia. White people making good money with great benefits, losing their jobs out of nowhere for no reason? Hell naw...republicans were doomed in Virginia the minute that shyt happened.
