It’s not about immigration, it’s about programming. 6 months ago it was about the economy, they said.

Trump, X, Facebook, Truth Social, NYT, Musk, etc, distract everyone constantly with made up stories about bad hombres and immigrants stealing all the houses, which stupid people (which is a large percentage of Americans) get programmed into thinking it’s something they really care about.

All the while the actual policies that impact them and their families pass right under their noses, just for them to complain it about it months down the line when it’s already too late.

The Dems want comprehensive immigration. The border was an issue before Biden.

The fact Trump is now trying to backtrack on farm workers shows how little his immigration policy was thought out besides the white supremacy rush to throw people out. Violent or not.

The pile up at the border is because Congress purposefully won’t make the legal immigration faster. We aren’t moving people by steamboat. You can go from Chicago to Brazil in 8 hrs but we can’t check immigrant’s papers in Brazil and track them here when we have cellphone apps tracking our every move?


I don’t know about you but I don’t want my tax money staying at Trump 2025 levels for something we could be getting paid for by having these people legal and fully taxed.

I’m more willing to believe enough Latinos flip to Dems that Florida becomes winnable than I am white people in Kentucky won’t find a way to blame Dems that Trump had to break things cause Dem policies made it bad.

If Florida flips it'll be off the back of black voters. We always say "black people are not a monolith" but if you're a black american then there is a shared cultural experience that varies based on where you live. A latino could be a Cuban, a Guatamalan, a Spaniard, or even a mf from Chile. Dems arent winning that voting bloc until they accept there is no catch all policy that will appeal to latinos, but they can piss them off with shyt like latinx (which I dont think has been relevant in politics since 2020)
