Low-key it is the only free online newspaper for the city. It tends to shape people’s views on things by being easy access. I would argue Mamdani was a word of mouth campaign which work very well in NYC, maybe better here than anywhere else in the country. However when that fukking b*stard Daniel Penny killed that man in the subways don’t sleep on how much the Post shaped people’s views on that and contributed to him getting found not guilty.
The podcast-sphere made Newsom start his own show. If you dont think a new deep-pocketed attack venue in traditional media won’t affect him, you’re delusional.

Fox, oan, Breitbart, daily wire, turning point, and so on all do this daily. It's just another one. He and every other Democrat is fighting an uphill battle in terms of media coverage every single day. The right wing has a stranglehold over the media platforms and they still act like theres a bias against them.
Traditional outfits go out of their way to both sides everything to appear nonbiased.

Trump literally said he had concepts of a plan. And all the coverage from the media was how the Democrats and Kamala had no plan. Even when she had a fully listed platform to cover.
I'm not delusional I don't think there is anything the Democrats can do to break through. There's nothing of gain unless you attack the Dems and the left.
