they could cut DJ next year this time and be aight :patrice:

I'd rather have Malik at half the price or Kyler at the minimum. I have no idea what they keep seeing in Jones.

They clearly don't trust him as their franchise QB with such a short deal so why that high of a salary? No one else is paying him that much this late in free agency.

Coming off that Achilles I wouldn't be surprised if they have a 7-10, 8-9 season.

Yup there's no telling how he'll do after that. He's gonna miss some time too so what's the plan? What if he misses more time than expected or worse yet gets hurt again.

BTW I think Willis made a mistake going to Miami. Kinda stunned Atlanta settled for Tua instead of doing anything to get Willis, or even Kyler.

Hell no. I'm not sold on Malik. Kyler I would understand, higher ceiling/lower floor than Dimes for way less. I don't think AP was staying for the opportunity to play with Kyler, though.

If Dimes can stay healthy then I can see us making the playoffs, but if not he has to go.

Washington bound but if the price is for the low KC should holla at his agent.
Colts need to kick the tires. I know Ballard doesn't like headcases or medical mysteries, but he should at least do his homework.

I don't think Atlanta or Indy was considering Willis. If they were his agent would've had him hold off on signing so fast. With Penix there's no guarantees he remains the starter. Miami he at least knows he's QB1 and he's going there with a GM and coach he knows from Green Bay.

Miami isn't a great situation but he just needs to play well and he can choose his next team.

Jones has been injury prone going back to the Giants. He had a leg injury last season before the Achilles tear. He's not even that good to not move on from.

With Malik you get a 25 year old with upside. His running ability paired with Taylor would've been explosive. Sure he's not a lock as a franchise QB but he's healthy and Jones is not that guy.

We saw how Cousins and Rodgers looked coming off that Achilles. They were older but they also didn't have Jones' injury history nor does mobility factor into their games as much as his. Jones having to sit in the pocket is not what you want. He's going to struggle whenever he returns to the field.

AP was going to stay regardless because they overpaid him.

Aiyuk isn't signing with y'all. Commanders would be his preference because he played with Jayden at ASU. I expect them to offer him a contract.

I don't even think he's a headcase he just became disgruntled with Shanahan and the front office. A coach like Andy Reid wouldn't give him any problems so if Washington isn't the team KC should be. Baltimore would work too.

The new regime not beholden to Pennix. It's very likely they may look at getting their QB in next year draft.

They have no picks this year and alot of holes. It would make sense to suck next year

Malik only showed that upside in what, 6 games? And looked trash otherwise? Id rather have Kyler over him.

AP chose less money to stay with the Colts and Dimes.

Aiyuk fell out with the Niners over his rehab process. I haven’t seen any concrete details aside from that. And if a grown man only wants a coach who isn’t going to give him problems, then nevermind we don’t want him lol.
