Even if they get tucker, this team will be worst next year.
I think they can be better with a few signings and a trade or two.. but I just don't think Stearns has it in him. For somebody that grew up a Met fan, he's got a small market mentality. That shyt hardly ever works and I'm starting to think that it's not gonna work here neither.

Give it a chance damn. What definitely hasn't worked for over 5 years is Alonso, Nimmo, Diaz, Lindor. Peterson and McNeil. They haven't even won a division. And they have recorded some of the most embarrassing losses to the Braves in Mets history.
When they were losing to teams they had no business losing to down the stretch I was yelling at the TV get rid of everybody! Stearns feels the same. lol

Alonso and Diaz weren’t the problems they were some of the few bright spots

The Mets were a 83 win team last year and we just got a lot worse by getting rid of two of their best players

They now are even further away from being good and need a few good moves just to try to get back to the mediocre team they were last year never mind contend

They been here 6 years and we haven't won anything. They may have not been the reason they lost but they were also the reason we didn't win.
We are disappointing year after year yet it's no one's fault? Especially our most prominent players. Doesn't make sense.
