Why would it have an effect on creativity?

Creativity comes from thinking differently and challenging social norms or conventional thinking.

In the progressive left-wing PC world, there has been a big clamp down in what is socially acceptable and what people are supposed to be thinking. if one expresses thoughts on Facebook, Twitter or basically anywhere online, one risks having their entire lives destroyed by the Left-wing internet Mob.

think about a show like Married With Children or even as recent Chappelle Show....Or think about comedians like Richard Prior or Andrew Dice Clay. These shows and acts were very creative but would seem racist, sexist and barbaric in today's age.

Same with 80-90s style Rated R movies. Something like the Predator would be seen as sexist because their were no female Special Forces Operators.

Privacy gives someone a way to think differently. Without having the leftist internet mob deciding how one should think and act with their so-called "activism."

This is one of the most absurd things I've read on many levels. How does privacy even relate to what people put on the internet in public venues. Never in the history of the world, in any circumstances, have people been free from backlash for the things that they say in public. The funny thing is that creativity is usually associated with the left and youth.

Remember when the right wing media was so upset about NWA and eminem? Where was the outrage from republicans then about political correctness? Or remember when dumbasses in the South try to ban books that they disagree with and even go so far as to censor science textbooks? Where was the backlash against political correctness then?

Right wing? It was Al Gore and his wife that spearheaded the movement against metal and rap music.

It joe Lieberman and Hilary/Bill Clinton that lead the charge against video games.

Where else can anyone get exposure for their creativity besides the internet in this day and age?

NWA? What about "a bytch is a bytch"? You think the left wing Mob would be okay with a song like that? Eazy E rapped about smacking-up women in his Debut EP. in this age of hyper-feminism, that would never fly. What about Al bundy's endless fat jokes? Is that something the progressive police would allow? No, there would be millions of tweets and Facebook posts protesting both Eazy E, NWA and Al Bundy.

What you are describing is public backlash to statements made in public, remind me again what this has to do with privacy?

As far as censorship goes, its safe to say that liberals and conservatives both favor censorship when it fits their needs. Conservatives and sensitive liberals both are guilty of this

So remind me again who actually opposed NWA?

from wiki

"While "nikkaz 4 Life" was the original title, it was likely changed on the cover to its reversed form due to political (and financial) considerations. The corruption of the word "nikka" as used in the album title was perhaps influenced by censorship measures in the US music industry introduced at the time. Controversy surrounding the content ofheavy metal and hip hop music in general, in particular N.W.A, had been directed by Tipper Gore's Parents Music Resource Center, which had resulted in the adoption of self-censorship measures in the US music industry, including the Parental Advisorysticker. Straight Outta Compton, N.W.A's previous full-length, which also contained the song "Parental Discretion Iz Advised", was one of the first to be branded. By obfuscating the offensive word, the group were able to leverage a small measure of artistic freedom. At the time of release, the album was removed from music stores in the United Kingdom."

Al gore and his wife can be
Seen here as the chief proponents if music censorship.
