Because men do.
You want equality deal with persuasive advertisements just like us.

I just watched a commercial with a man standing in the mirror shaving all the hair off his body, then looking in the mirror and says "I'd fukk me". As in. "Now im socially acceptable for women to find me attractive".

I wasn't saying to myself Gilette is trying to systematically destroy manhood. They are trying to trick you into believing this is what the opposite sex wants.

Exactly. Why should we all shut up? We should all speak out.

A hair removal company trying to shame women into buying their product isnt something a grown adult should waste their time protesting.
If you don't want to shave your legs, don't. :manny: If you don't wanna buy their product, don't. :manny:
Thats where it should end. This "outrage" or w/e you wanna call it is just petty and a waste of everyones time.

If someone feels strongly enough about something they should act on it. This should applauded. Why would you sit back and accept BS :lupe:

They don't see it as a waste of their time otherwise they wouldn't be doing it. As for people who don't care either way, the only way they'd be wasting their time is by taking time to try and convince everyone else not to care.

Or we could not buy into it. Plain and simple.

But that's the thing, the world has changed. Whereas that was all you could ever do previously, now you can do more.

I remember a while back someone got really offended by the ad where a black athlete lifted some white guy onto his shoulders. If it meant enough to you, you could monitor ads like that, create a #tag, let people know why this is unacceptable and if enough people stand with you, you can draw more attention to what is unacceptable and make marketing execs think twice about their choices. However sitting back and complaining in your living room is just being a passive participant in society.

That's my thinking.

already did.

she right next to me, while our 2 year old son sleep.

see what being an unhappy "fight to be hairy" gets you?

Well I hope she doesn't one day decide not to wax and make you feel like you're sleeping next to a bloke.

Edit: Actually if she's next to you, what would she say if you told her she HAD to wax?

The thing is I agree with you, but this commercial is not worthy of doing what you just proposed.
This commercial, just like the Gilette shaving one I mentioned, and all those Axe commercials, is a silly advertisement that shouldn't be taken so seriously.
