Think about all those lives lost. Young men with the whole world in front of them preparing to make something of themselves.

I hate the evil of man

That's what i was about to say. Look at all those beautiful faces, full of life and innocence ripped off by those damn evil cacs :pacspit:

I can't believe how there are still a lot of black people who give these demons the benefit of the doubt or even forgive them :snoop:

Is there an open log of tragedies like this?

I think it's important to compile. People don't know how bad the atrocities were because people bring them up on an adhoc basis. There needs to be or I'm hoping there is one.

It's something I've thought about, we seem to get these stories in pieces and at random like you said.

There isn't a central place to keep track as far as I know.

Yes you can Google, but everything is everywhere. Blogs, articles, books, PDFs, word docs, etc etc.

Not to mention the subject matter is heavy, so you dig in far enough, you done for the rest of the month and gotta recharge your sanity.

The last one I remember was The Red Record by Ida B Wells and the work the NAACP and the Chicago Defender put in to publicize all the lynchings up through the 30s. There are a few nonprofits who do the same thing today, Bryan Stevenson and his museum in Montgomery AL are some more recent examples

People just learned about Tulsa...just learned about it en masse.

Don't get me started on Vertus Hardiman.

I'm just tired of people saying get over it; slavery was 160 years ago. Nah it still happened to our grandparents and parents and in some cases us in the 1000s for decades ONTOP of the discrimination and perception we all still get.
